So, as I may have mentioned in an earlier post, I'm a baton twirler. I love to twirl and since next year I'm hoping to be the twirler with my school's marching band, I've been practicing for hours and hours every day and getting really serious about stuff. My friend, Melissa, is a twirler too. And she's great at it! But it's sad that she's not doing it with me next year because it would have been fun. But I'm still going to go out there and have a ginormously (idc if that's not a word, i have my own vocab) good time and rock it! (I'm super excited if you didn't realize!)
So for the past two weeks I have been wearing myself out practicing tricks, stunts, dance moves and two long routines for my audition. By Tuesday morning I have to have a video audition of me twirling and showing my band directors my routines while I pray I thrill them. ;) So, how long have I been practicing everyday? Anywhere from two to five hours. Some days I can only practice half an hour or an hour because of homework, projects and hanging with my friends.
Also this morning I had my sister's, Krysia, bridal shower. It was themed Breakfast at Tiffany's and it was so pretty. Everyone wore their best black dresses, pearls, high heels, and diamonds for the occasion. It was fun stressing out this morning about being late, mingling with people I just met, and of course dressing up and taking lots of pictures. Although, pictures outside with the bright bright sun shining in my eyes did nothing good for me. Overall it was fun and I can't wait for the wedding in June.
I'd also like to give a huge shout-out to my old best friend forever Hayley. It's her 15th birthday today so here I am saying "HAPPY 15th BIRTHDAY!" to an old, but always loved, best friend. <3
